Obituary

Tige Anthony "Hollywood" Dyer, 51, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Lowell General Hospital.

Born on March 22, 1974, in Sanford, Maine, he was the beloved son of Denise (St. Onge) Renaud of Lowell and the late Fred Dyer. Tige grew up in Lowell and Pelham and was educated in the Lowell and Pelham school systems as well as Lowell High School.

Tige had a natural gift for fixing anything and especially loved working on cars. He was the one everyone could count on — always smiling, always kind, and always ready to stand up for others. Known as the “fun uncle” in his family, his heart was as big as his smile, and he made everyone around him feel cared for and supported.

He worked as a journeyman plumber, a profession where his hands-on skills and work ethic shined.

Tige is survived by his two sons, Tige Orr and Dale Orr; his mother, Denise Renaud, and her partner, Michael Fray of Lowell; his brothers, Thomas Dyer and his wife Leah of Lowell, and Fred Dyer and his partner Christine Fleury of Lowell; his half-brothers, Scott Dyer of California and Todd Dyer of Maine. He also leaves many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and his extended family, including Krymeii Fray, who was like a brother to him.

He was also the stepson of the late Donald L. Renaud.

Tige’s kindness, laughter, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who loved him.

You are welcome to attend his visitation on Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 3pm until 5pm at the McDonough Funeral Home, 14 Highland Street, Lowell, MA.
