William “Billy” O’Neill Jr. age 86 of South Boston, MA went to be with the lord on April 30th 2025.
He was a Southie native and loved all things sports and was inducted to the South Boston Hall of Fame. He has honored all military divisions with voluntary devotion for those who dedicated their lives.
His passion of making home-made cards every year was just one way he honored troops across the world.
Also, every friend and family member at one point received one of his famous cards, made with love.
He enjoyed managing the L. Street Tavern with his two partners.
If he could tell you, he would say his open-heart surgery on 10/24/62 was his best accomplishment because he was able to live, laugh, and love for a lot of years.
