Ted Jinright, 78, of Rochelle passed away suddenly from injuries sustained from an automobile accident in Fitzgerald. Ted was born January 31, 1947 to the late Grady & Jewette Bohannon Jinright. He served proudly in the United States Air Force as a Crew Chief. Before he retired he worked at Union Camp as electrician supervisor. After retiring, Ted enjoyed going to Puckett's Place for breakfast, where he would sit with his friends at the "table of knowledge." Ted had a way with words and a word of advice from the heart, he had a personality plus. He loved nature, and was an avid fisherman and hunter, but he loved his grandchildren with all his heart.

Survivors include his wife, Gail Jinright of Rochelle; children, Tommy (Angie) Newton of Fitzgerald, Donivan (Brittany) Thompson of Fitzgerald, and Todd Thompson of Fitzgerald; grandchildren, Kyle (Genny) Newton, Cole Newton, Josey (Grace) Day, Ashley (Andrew) Switzer, Cody Thompson, Rose Thompson, Waylon Thompson, Charles Monk, Jarrett Thompson, Justin Thompson, Dayton Jinright, Mattie (Trent) Johnson, and Rebecca Jinright; one great grandchild, on the way; and two sisters, Connie (Ray) Mixon of Fitzgerald, and Patsy (Wayne) Gladden of Fitzgerald. Ted was preceded in death by his son, Chuck Jinright; and brother, Billy Jinright.

A celebration of life will be held at the Tifton Hunting and Fishing Club at 10 am on May 31, 2025. A reception and fellowship will follow at the Cabin of Tommy and Angie Newton. The address is 424 Alapaha River Road, Chula, Ga 31733.

Family will accept flowers at their home now or contributions may be made in memory of Ted to Tifton Fishing Club, 413 Royal Crest Circle, Kathleen, GA 31047.
