BUXTON-Bryce Jeremy Kennie, age 39, passed away on April 27, 2025, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.
He was born in Portland, Maine on March 3, 1986, son of Joseph M. Kennie and Carol (Romprey) York.
Bryce attended Bonny Eagle High School. He worked as a floor installer, he did paving, plowing and various other carpentry jobs. Bryce enjoyed fishing with his children spending time with his friends and family. Bryce was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it. He attended Living Waters Christian Church in Buxton.
He is predeceased by his father, Joseph M. Kennie. Bryce is survived by his mother, Carol York of Pittsfield, his daughters, Jada Kennie (age 20) of Limington, Gabriella Kennie (age 15) of Massachusetts, Angel Kennie (age 8) of New Hampshire, and Quintin Kennie (age 18) of Buxton. His sisters, Babbie-Joe Mccorrison of Standish, Jessica Gardner of Buxton, Melissa Washburn of Limington and Nicole Kennie of Buxton, his brothers, Josh Clark of Otisfield and Travis York of Pennsylvania, stepmother, Kathy Kennie of Buxton, stepfather, Tim York of New York, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Thank you to all of the friends and family that came to support Bryce in his final days. A special thank you to Becky Palmer and Mike Crockett, who provided so much support to Bryce and Carol.
The family would like to thank the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House staff for their amazing care of Bryce.
A funeral service will be held on May 10, 2025 at 10 AM at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Road, Buxton. Reception to follow at the Hollis Lions Club. Online condolence messages can be submitted at www.Maine funeral.com.
