It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Glynn Jr., who peacefully passed away on 4/27/2025.
Born on January 15, 1969, to Joseph (Buzzy) Glynn Sr. and Marion (Plunkett) Glynn in Boston, MA. Dear brother of Ruth Carreiro and her husband Val, Edward Masse (deceased), Steven Masse (deceased), Linda Masse, sister-in-law to Marie Masse.
Cherished uncle of Bryan Masse and his wife Rachel, Shannon (Masse) Mansfield and her husband Ryan, Andrew Masse and his wife Nichole, Raymond Carreiro and his wife Allie, Karl Carreiro and his wife Kelly, Tricia Carroll and her partner Robert McCambly, Tracey, Charles, James and Michael Carroll, and many grand nieces and nephews.
Longtime friend of Brian (Brucie) Astrofsky, Junior DiGaetano and Andy Merles’, as well as so many more.
Joe grew up in Dorchester and South Boston. He had a big heart, great sense of humor and found joy in cars, particularly Cutlass Supreme’s and working out at the gym.
Honoring Joe’s generous wish, the gift of life was shared with many people in need through organ donation so that others may live.
Friends and family are invited to a funeral mass on Saturday, May 17th at 10:30am at St. Monica’s Church, 331 Old Colony Ave., South Boston, MA 02127.
