Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 8am. Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein/St. Edward Parish at 9am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, W. Bridgewater. Joanne M. Majeran, 58 years, died Wednesday morning at her home after a lengthy battle with breast cancer. She was the wife of Robert J. Majeran. She was born and raised in Boston, a daughter of Catherine (Murphy) Bowler of Norton and the late William “Ted” Bowler. Since 1978 she had been a resident of Brockton. She was a graduate of Cardinal Cushing High School in South Boston and also attended Business College in Boston. Until recently Joanne had been a secretary for the Plymouth County District Attorney’s office in Brockton for 14 years. She loved to entertain and read.
She is survived by her husband, Robert J. Majeran, a son Eric T. Majeran of Taunton and a daughter, Erin J. Majeran of Brockton, her mother Catherine (Murphy) Bowler of Norton, two sisters and three brothers, William “Billy” Bowler of Natick, Pauline Cola of Norwood, Thomas Bowler of Mansfield, Joseph Bowler of Holliston and Karen Kuzmich of Norton and many nieces and nephews.
