Robert B. Carnie, 55

Dateline: Mansfield, MA

Robert B. Carnie, age 55, a lifelong resident of Mansfield, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Monday, April 28, 2025 at the Boston Medical Center in Boston.

Born in Attleboro, MA on June 20, 1969, he was a loving son of Lorraine M. (Muise) Carnie of Norton and the late Bruce R. Carnie.

Rob grew up and was educated in Mansfield. He was the proud founder of R.C. Vinyl Siding Home Improvement, a company he successfully owned and operated since 1990.

More than anything else, Rob cherished the times spent amongst family and friends and playing with his dogs “Pearl” and “Princess”. He enjoyed engaging in projects around the home, especially in his backyard, was a member of the Broken Chains Biker Church in Taunton and an avid New England sports fan, with the Patriots being his favorite team to follow and cheer on. Other special times for Rob included attending opening day at Fenway Park with his uncle Ray.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his devoted daughters, Kylin Carnie, Mackenzie Joyce and Tamara Fairbanks. He was the dear brother of Robin Jackson and her longtime companion Dana Rolfe of Norton and the treasured uncle of Avery Jackson and Amanda Jackson, both of Norton. He was the former husband of the late Tracey O’Gorman and the former companion of Patricia Joyce of Plainville. He is also survived by his mother Lorraine’s longtime companion George Figueredo of Mansfield, as well as his much-loved aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, May 1st from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.

His funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd at 10:00 A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date.
