Obituary
Marion C. Westwater, 89 years of Brockton died Tuesday morning at the Guardian Center after a brief illness. She was born and educated in Boston a daughter of the late Francis J. and Amelia (Backhoff) Westwater. For the past 43 years Miss Westwater had been a resident of Brockton.
She retired as a dietician from the Massachusetts Hospital School in Canton and previously had worked at the Brockton VA Medical Center and GTE Sylvania in Boston.
Miss Westwater enjoyed word search puzzles, playing cards, soap operas and shopping.
She is survived by three nieces and a nephew Catherine Pike, Rachael and Martha Bottary and Richard A. Bottary, Jr. all of Brockton.
She was also the sister of George Westwater of Hyde Park and the late J. Harold and Catherine Westwater and Margaret Murphy.
