Obituary

Worcester – Ernest F. Simpson, 68, 0f 1050 Main St. died on Wednesday,,August 16, in his son’s home in Bradford, MA after an illness.
Mrs. Simpson is predeceased by his wife of 46 years Patricia R. (Baillargeon) Simpson who died on Dec. 26, 2005. He is survived by two sons David Simpson of Uniondale, IN and Michael Simpson of Bradford, MA; three daughters Tina Simpson of Haverhill, MA, Carol Simpson and Brenda Bowers both of Worcester; a brother Harry Simpson Jr. of Beckley, WV; two sisters Katherine Adams of Sterling and Alice Degnan of Auburn; 13 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Mr. Simpson was born in Clinton son on Harry and Margaret (Nicholson) Simpson and is predeceased by 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Mr. Simpson is a veteran of the United States Army and worked as a machinist for Lincoln Precision in North Grafton before retiring in 2002. After retiring he went to work for Price Chopper Supermarket on Sunderland Rd. as a deli clerk.

Mr. Simpson enjoyed crossword puzzles, cribbage, country music and wrestling.

The funeral will be held on Saturday August 19 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with a mass at 10 AM in St. John’s Church 44 Temple St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling Hours are on Friday August 18 from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
