Leonard “Lenny” R. Reissfelder Sr. 82 of Inverness Fla. Died Thursday July 27, 2006 He was born Sept 3, 1923, in Boston, Mass., to Henry & Helen(Tully) Reissfelder. He was employed as a milkman for H.P. Hood & Sons in Charlestown Mass., for 35 years before retiring. Mr. Reissfelder served in the U.S. Navy on the S.S. Izzard during WW II and was awarded the Silver Star. He moved to Inverness from Taunton in 1989.He was a member of the loyal order of the Moose Lodge 2013 in Crystal River, and the VFW Post 4252 in Hernando Fla. The POW Golf Club and the Dynabody Health Club, and was active in the Knights of Columbus in Franklin, Mass.He loved to play golf and dance.He was Catholic. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Doris “Dolly” (Nunes) Reissfelder of Inverness Fla. Son, Leonard R. Reissfelder Jr. and his wife Cynthia of Wellington. Daughter, Cheryl Tullio and her husband Anthony of Wellfleet, Mass;stepsons, Donald Nunes and his wife Laurel of Raynham, Mass, and Kevin Nunes and his wife Deborah of Taunton, Mass.; sisters, Eleanor Giovanilla of Newton, Mass. Doreene Nizari of Hopedale, Mass, and Bernadette Johnson of Sarasota Fla. 11 Grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren., Funeral Service at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington St. Taunton Thursday August 17th at 12 Noon Visiting Hours 1 hour prior to the service from 11-12 Noon Interment in Mayflower Hill Cemetery Taunton, Mass.
