Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Gisele Minella, a beloved wife, daughter, sister, and aunt, who left this world on April 21st, 2025. She was 78 years old. Gisele's love for life and her infectious spirit touched everyone she met, making an indelible mark on all our hearts.

Though Gisele (Gigi) did not have children of her own, she embraced the role of a nurturing figure to many, always treating children as if they were her own. Her warmth and kindness created lasting bonds with every young soul she encountered, reflecting her deep love for family and community.

Gisele was an avid lover of birds, finding joy in their beauty and freedom. Whether she was tending to her feeders or out in nature, she could often be found delighting in watching her feathered friends. This passion for wildlife mirrored her gentle spirit and her desire to connect with the world around her.

Gisele built a legacy rich in love, laughter, and compassion. Her family was her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them, always the first to lend a helping hand or share a heartfelt laugh.

Gisele leaves behind her husband James Minella; three brothers, Conrad Theriault and his wife Rose of Wisconsin, Guy Theriault and his wife Gisele of Maine and Rudy Theriault of Colorado; sister, Gay Bernier and her husband Mitchel of Maine as well as several nieces and nephews, who will forever hold her memory in their hearts. Her light will continue to shine through the countless lives she touched, and her spirit will live on in the love she spread.

Gisele was predeceased by her parents Romeo J. and Annete J. (Madore) Theriault; sister, Lynn Smith and three brothers, Daniel, Roger and Ronald.

A mass in honor of Gisele's life will be later scheduled, details to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence, https://hospiceoforange.com/donate-now/ in Gisele’s memory.

Rest in peace, dear Gisele (Gigi). You will be profoundly missed, but your love will endure in all of us.
