Fall River - Evelyn P. (Medeiros) Pietrzyk, 75, of Westport passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at Charlton Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was the wife of Walter Pietrzyk.
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Antone and Mary (Pires) Medeiros, she had resided in Westport for the past 36 years. Mrs. Pietrzyk worked at Walt’s Fruit Stand in Westport for many years. She was a Communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport.
Including her husband, she is survived by a son: James J. Pietrzyk of Coventry, RI; 2 step-children: Theresa Lambert of FL and Mark Pietrzyk of Westport; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Joseph Medeiros, Raymond Medeiros, Daniel Medeiros and Edward Medeiros.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, August, 18, 2006 from the Potter Funeral Home at 8:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport at 9:30 A.M.
Calling hours Thursday from 4 - 7 P.M.
Interment will be in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
