Eva M. Anderson, 69, of Benefit Street, Coventry passed away on Monday April 14, at 8:01 am in Kent Hospital in Warwick
Born in Providence, a daughter of Amey (Fenner) Anderson and the late Alfred J. Anderson . She had lived in Coventry for 3 years with her mother, previously living in Greenville for over 20 years.
She leaves her son Chris H. Anderson, two grand children Autumn (Leamy) Rathier and Brandon Ouimette, her mother Amey, her brother Brian Anderson and his wife Petra. She joins her daughter Tracey Durand, brothers Alfred, Stephen, and Robert Anderson, and her sister Patricia Anderson in the afterlife.
Eva was a foster parent and a camp counselor over the summer for over 20 years. There was nothing she enjoyed more than being out with her camp unit going on little adventures such as making new trails in the woods, teach archery or even showing them how to setup a camp fire. She was a free spirit like a kid which why she was able to connect with them so well. She also had her fun as a bartender for a little bit too
Her funeral will be held on Saturday April 19th at 12noon in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Her visitation will be held on Saturday April 19th from 10am to 12noon. Her burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to a charity that you believe in.
