Boston - Alice M. (Lundstrom) Scholes, 95, of Red Cedar Road, Westport Point, passed away Monday, August 14, 2006 at North End Rehabilitation Center after a brief illness. She was the widow of John J. Scholes.
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late John F. and Harriet (Hunt) Lundstrom, and had resided in Westport since 1966. Mrs. Scholes attended St. John the Baptist Church, Westport, was a former member of the St. Peter & Paul Church, Fall River and a was a former member of Pocasset Country Club, Portsmouth, RI. She enjoyed pets and loved boating and the beaches in Westport.
Survivors include a daughter: Barbara Ann Scholes of Westport Point; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late John Lundstrom, Chester Lundstrom, James Lundstrom, Peter Lundstrom, William Lundstrom, Nora Wojciechowski and Agnes Czerniawski.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, August, 19, 2006 from the Potter Funeral Home at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours Friday from 5 - 8 P.M.
Interment will be in St. Patrick‘s Cemetery, Fall River.
