Dear and loving brother of Mae Berner of Andover, Mildred Dayton of Nashua, New Hampshire and the late Walter C. Cormier, Catherine Cormier, Eva Belanger, Winifred Smith and Flora Melanson. Grandfather of the late Patricia Holoman. Also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Margarets Church, Winn Street, Burlington on Monday morning, September 2nd at 10 AM. Visiting hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Sunday from 3-8 PM. Interment Private. Late United States Army Veteran of World War II, former DAV State Department Commander of Maine, President of the Meadowview Golf Association, member of the Augusta Country Club, for over 50 years, trained and promoted boxers, both amateur and professional. Served as President of the La Casa Condominium Association. For over 24 years was employed as an accountant for the Federal Government Veterans Administration at facilities in Boston and Togus, Maine. Member in good standing of the DAV, VFW, American Legion and served as a member at large for the AMVETS.
