Florence E. ”Betty”(Bryant) Davis 89, died Tuesday August 1st , after a period of failing health., wife of the late David Davis.
Born in Hanson, a daughter of the late Irving and Florence (Shier) Bryant. She attended Hanson and Whitman schools.
Betty was a resident of Halifax for many years, before moving to Florida 3 years ago
She was a member of the Eastern Star and 7 Stars Rebecca Lodge and was mother advisor of the Rainbow Girls of Bridgewater. Betty volunteered at the C.O.A. in Halifax and taught crafts at many local nursing homes.
She enjoyed camping, doing crafts and going on boat cruisers from Florida
She is survived by 2 daughters, Karen Nice of Middleboro and Sandra Richmond of Fl.; also survived by 8 grandchildren,21 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Thursday August 24th at 10:00 A.M. in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street, and (Route 58 at the Rotary Circle). Burial will follow in the Plymouth Memorial Cemetery, Plymouth MA Donations made be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, Ma.02472.
