Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 18, 2006 for Elaine (Taich) Diamond who died suddenly on August 11, 2006 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Mrs. Diamond was 68 years old.
Born in Everett, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Jean (Lesser) Taich, she was raised and educated in Chelsea, graduating from Chelsea High School. Mrs. Diamond went on to study at Boston University where she earned her Bachelor's Degree. For many years, Mrs. Diamond was the owner/operator of "Wutz Nu?" a lady's clothing store in Norwood, MA. A resident of Fountain Hills, Arizona for the past 3 years, Mrs. Diamond was formerly of Sarasota, FL and the Boston area. She was a member of Congregation Beth Hagivot in Fountain Hills, Arizona and enjoyed dining out, going to movies, and the theatre.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Stephen Diamond of Fountain Hills, AZ; her daughters, Ilene Blumenreich of Scottsdale, AZ and Gail Easton of Seekonk; her grandchildren, John and Matthew Blumenreich and Benjamin and Jennifer Easton; and her sisters, Phyllis Glazer of Andover and Brenda Giesen of Lynnfield.
Graveside funeral services will be held in the Chevra Thilim of Boston Cemetery, 232 Fuller St. EVERETT on Friday, August 18, 2006 at 11:00 AM. Rabbi Earl Kideckel will officiate.
