M.Gloria(Jardin)Medeiros. Age 86. Wife of Joseph B. Medeiros Jr for 65 years. Residence 495 New Boston Rd. formerly Denver St. Died Sunday at Kimwell Health Care Center. Daughter of the late John Gomes Jardin and the late Anna (Figueira) Jardin. Born in Fall River. She was a lifelong resident of Fall River. She was a retired Trimmer having worked at the former Anderson-Little plant in Fall River for 34 years. She was a member of the Royal Travelers, Unite and the Amalgamated Unions. She was an avid Red Sox Fan. She was a parishioner of Good Shepherd Church and a parishioner of the former Our Lady of Health Church.
She is survived by 1 Daughter:Patricia Salpietro and Husband Roger of Fall River. 1 Sister: Constant “Sally” Albert of Fall River. 2 Grandchildren: Michael Salpietro and Roger Salpietro Jr. and Wife Kellie. 2 Great-Grandchildren: Andrew and Whitney Salpietro. Several Nieces and Nephews.
She was the Sister of the late Manuel, John, Raymond, Joseph, Antone, Americo, and Albert Jardin.
Her funeral will take place from the Mnauel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St., Fall River Thursday at 9 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in Good Shepherd Church at 10 A.M. Internment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours Wednesday 4-8 P.M.
