Medford, MA –Clara (Coletta) Wood, 96, died Sunday August 13, 2006 at Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital in Brighton.
Clara was born and educated in Lawrence and had been employed as a Packer with various mills in the greater Lawrence area for many years.
Mrs. Wood was a communicant of Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church in Lawrence before moving to Medford.
Clara enjoyed Arts, Crafts, and Cooking.
The widow of John A. Wood, she is survived by one son John C. Wood of Medford, two sisters; Jennie LoPiano of Lawrence, and Carmela Harris of Rhode Island, one brother Albert Coletta of Hampstead, NH, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will take place on Thursday morning at 10 o’clock in Holy Rosary Church in Lawrence with interment to follow in Bourne National Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen, MA.
