Standish – Our dear mother Linda Arlene Sellick (Seaton) sadly passed away on April 1, 2025 at
the age of 78. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who always put her family first,
offering kindness and love. Linda was born March 12, 1947 at her parents’ home in Standish,
Maine. A daughter of the late Carroll and Mildred Seaton. She graduated from Standish High
School.
Linda was employed at IHEC, where she became floor manager and also worked at Mega
Industries.
Linda was a passionate baker, grandmother and reader. She loved feeding and watching the
birds. Linda had a knack for making everyone feel welcome. Her kindness touched many lives.
She was preceded in death by a brother Carl Seaton, a sister Joyce Merrill, her daughter Sherry
Sellick and Lester Huntress (Linda’s significant other of 30+ years.) She is survived by her loving
family including her children Steven Sellick and his wife Jeanne of Lyman, Shirley Ward and her
husband Morris Ward of Steep Falls, Judy Thompson and her significant other Gary Walker of
Buxton, Brian Sellick and his wife Leigh Sellick of Gorham, Paul Sellick of Limerick. Her
Grandchildren Scott Parsons, Todd Thompson, Dean Swain, Jarred Sellick, Madison Sellick, Cody
Sellick and Jack Sellick. Also, her 3 sisters Hazel Drew, Olive Merrill and Felicia Thompson.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday April 26, 2025, at 10:00AM at the Friendship
Cemetery on 114 in Richville/Standish Maine. A celebration of her life will be held at the Richville Library
743 Richville Rd. (Rt. 114)
Standish, ME 04084 following the service.
