Funeral services will be held on Wednesday for Dolores (Sugarman) Hass, a lifelong resident of Revere. Mrs. Hass died at the Eastpointe Nursing Care and Rehabilitation Center on August 14, 2006 after a long illness. She was 72 years old.
Daughter of the late Harry and Dora Sugarman, Mrs. Hass attended the Revere Schools and graduated from Revere High School. Wife of the late Burton J. Hass who died in 1997, Mrs. Hass dedicated her life to caring for her family. She also enjoyed knitting and spending time at her beloved Revere Beach. Mrs. Hass was an active member of Temple B’Nai Israel of Beachmont and Hadassah. She will be greatly missed by her children and grandchildren and all those that loved her kindness and warmth.
Mrs. Hass is survived by her 3 sons, Steven Hass of Revere; David Hass and his wife Merle of Newton; and Jonathan Hass and his wife Amy of Arlington, her grandchildren, Stephanie, Robert, Caroline, and Trevor; and her brother, Charles Sugarman of CA. She was the sister of the late Bernard Sugarman.
Funeral services will be held in the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Avenue, Cary Square, CHELSEA on Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at 10:00 AM. Rabbi Mark Sokoll of Temple B’Nai Israel of Beachmont will officiate. Burial will follow in Sharon Memorial Park. Memorial observance will be held at Mrs. Hass's late residence following the burial on Wednesday and on Thursday and Friday from 1-4 & 6-8 PM.
