DUDLEY – Paul S. Bellantoni, 66, of 313 Mason Road Extension, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, August 13, at home after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 38 years, A. Karen (Schmidt) Bellantoni; 2 sons, David E. Bellantoni and his wife Cheryl, and Paul J. Bellantoni and his wife Rebecca, all of Dudley; 2 daughters, Sandra J. Bellantoni and her companion Timothy Johnson of Leicester, and Catherine M. Pellegrine and her husband Michael of Dudley; 3 brothers, John Bellantoni of Sudbury and Joseph and Stephen Bellantoni, both of Belmont; 4 sisters, Gail Cutulle of Waltham, Mary Bellantoni of Lynn, Catherine Wheeler of Harvard, and Louise Beanland of Acton; 11 grandchildren; nephews and nieces.
He was born on November 25, 1939, in Boston and raised in Belmont, a son of Paul J. and Louise (Malfa) Bellantoni. He attended Belmont High School. When he was married in 1967, he moved to Webster and then to Dudley.
Mr. Bellantoni was a machine operator at the American Optical Company in Southbridge for over 20 years. He then worked at Cranston Print Works Company in Webster until 1998, when he retired because of illness.
He was a member of Saint Louis Church in Webster. He was a league bowler at the Mohegan Bowl-A-Drome in Webster for many years. He was active as a leader and sponsor in Alcoholics Anonymous.
The funeral will be held Thursday, August 17, from Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main St., Webster, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Louis Church, 14 Lake St.,Webster. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Webster. Calling hours will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, August 16, and from 8:15 to 9:15 AM Thursday, August 17, in the funeral home.
