Herve J. “Gilly” Guilmet, 79 of Nalcrest, FL, died Sunday, August 6th at the Winter Haven Hospital in Florida.
He was born in Methuen, MA, where he grew up and attended schools. He was a resident of Nalcrest for the past 11 years, formerly of Salem, NH.
Mr. Guilmet was a retired letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He was a US Navy Veteran, serving in World War II. He was past commander of the D.A.V in Salem, NH, and was of the Catholic faith.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Therese R. “Terry” (Beaulieu) Guilmet of Nalcrest, FL

Memorial visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH. Burial will be private for the family.
