Peter L. DiScuillo Jr., age 82, of Main Street, North Stonington, CT, husband of Marion (Frazer) DiScuillo, died Friday at Watch Hill Nursing Home.
Born August 18, 1923 in Pawtucket, RI, he was the son of the late Peter and Adeline (Sheldone) DiScuillo.
Mr. DiScuillo was a painter in the community for many years and was also a member of the CT Painter Union. He was a veteran of the US Army having served during WWII. He was also an avid Boston Red Sox fan.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his children, Peter L. DiScuillo III of Pawcatuck, MaryAnn (DiScuillo) Fistilla of St. Cloud, FL, and Dana A. DiScuillo of Bradford, RI; his siblings, William DiScuillo of Pawcatuck, and Evelyn Test of Perry IL; 10 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his siblings, George and Salvatore DiScuillo, Myra Durkin, Edith Cozzolino, Albina Colpritt and Philomena Beal and a grandson Michael William Pierce.
His family will greet relatives and friends at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Historic downtown Mystic on Tuesday from 5-6:45pm. A Service will immediately follow at 7pm. Burial will be private.
