Emily Marie Montione was a caring, loving daughter, twin sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend.
Emily passed away unexpectedly Friday, February 28th, 2025 – 3 days after her 18th birthday.
Emily was born on February 25th, 2007, at Saint-Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA and was baptized at Sacred Heart Church in Webster, MA on April 29th, 2007.
Emily’s family moved to Townline Road in Franklin in December 2009. She started Kindergarten with her twin brother Thomas in 2012 at Jefferson Elementary School.
Emily was an amazingly kind, generous, and talented girl. She loved Art, Music, Fashion, Journaling, Cooking, Meditation, and long walks with her beloved dog Griffin.
Emily adored her grandfather who currently resides in the French commune of Villemomble. Each year, Emily looked forward to spending quality time with her family together in France. She had a passion for fashion, and expressed interest in one day living in Paris.
Emily is survived by, her mother Murielle Montione, her father Leonard Montione, her twin brother Thomas Montione, her grand-father Jacques Maier, her grand-mother Maryann Montione, her cousin Catherine Sapin, her uncle and aunt Robert and Silvana Montione, her cousins Alexander, Kristina, and Olivia Montione, her Uncle Jack and Cousins from New Jersey.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass Wednesday, March 19th, 2025 in St. Mary’s Church, 1 Church Square in Franklin at 10AM.
Burial will take place privately at a later date.
In lieu of Flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to St. Vincent de Paul c/o St. Mary’s Church, Franklin or Boston Children’s Hospital Trust 401 Park Drive Suite 602 Boston, MA 02215.
