Obituary

Ronald G. Campo, 73 of Londonderry, NH, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Ron leaves behind his beloved wife of 45 years, Joan Campo; his four sons and their wives, Michael and Rebecca of Londonderry, Ronald and Keri of Hampstead, Stephen and Angel of Merrimack, and Justin and Jaci of Manchester; as well as nine cherished grandchildren.

Ron was deeply committed to the community of Londonderry, NH. He served on the Londonderry School Board for more than 20 years and dedicated over 25 years as President of LAFA, positively impacting countless children and families. His unwavering dedication to youth sports and education left a lasting legacy in the town he loved.

Beyond his community service, Ron’s greatest joy was his family. He and Joan treasured their time together, especially evenings on Cape Cod, watching the water and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. He took immense pride in watching his children grow and thrive, and that joy continued as he watched his grandchildren participate in their various activities.

Ron’s kindness, leadership, and love for his family and community will be deeply missed. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 4 – 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 12th at 9:30am in St. Jude Parish, 435 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH. In honor of Ron’s lifelong dedication, his family has requested that donations be made to LAFA in lieu of flowers, allowing him to make one final contribution to the organization he loved so dearly in the form of a scholarship. Following the Funeral Mass on Wednesday the family will be holding a reception to celebrate Ron's life from 11:00am to 2:00pm at the Puritan Backroom in the Pappas Room. His legacy of love, service, and dedication will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
