WEBSTER-Robert A. Patterson, Jr., 49, of 21 Whitcomb Street, died Wednesday, August 9th at home. He leaves two sons, David S. Patterson of Worcester and Michael E. Patterson of Webster; three brothers, Scott C. Patterson of Bradley, ME, Richard A. Patterson and Kevin M. Patterson both of Spencer; his companion, Doreen Theriault of Webster; his former wife, Eve (Greenblum) Patterson of Boylston; several nieces and nephews. A sister, Brenda J. Patterson predeceased him.
He was born in Worcester, the son of Robert A. Patterson, Sr. and Patricia A. (Flynn) Patterson and was a graduate of Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School. Mr. Patterson was a self employed painting contractor for many years and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. He enjoyed fishing and his greatest passion was his family.
Calling hours are Sunday, August 13th, from 4:00 until 6:00 PM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester. A service will follow at 6:00 PM. Burial will be private in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Burn Hospital, 51 Blossom Street, Boston, MA 02114.
