Carol F. (Schlup) McKenna - Age 82, of West Roxbury, formerly of Dedham, Aug. 9. Died Wednesday at the Faulkner Hospital after a brief illness. Mrs. McKenna was a retired Paralegal from the Boston Law Firm of Ropes & Gray, an active volunteer at the VA & Faulkner Hospitals and for FISH, a cancer support network. She was pre deceased by her husband Charles who was long associated with the Charles River Country Club, her infant son Chucky, her daughter Kathy McKenna-Stangle, a nurse at the Faulkner Hospital. In her later years by her friend & companion Edward McCarthy of West Roxbury. Mrs. McKenna is survived by her grandchildren, Jeffrey Stangle of West Roxbury, Richard Stangle of Amesbury, Robert McKenna-Blackmon of San Diego, CA and her great grandson Andrew Stangle of Amesbury. She is also survived by her nephews, Barry Monahan of Wellesley, Brian Monahan of Bedminster, NJ, Bruce Monahan of Honolulu, Hawaii, James O'Brien of Burlington and her niece Ellen Donovan of Stoughton. Also survived by numerous grand nieces & grand nephews.
Funeral from the P.E. Murray-George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Centre St., WEST ROXBURY, Sat. at 10:30 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Theresa's Church, West Roxbury at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited.

Interment Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
