Sheila A. Shepard, age 59 of Somerville MA, died Wednesday in the Massachusetts General Hospital of Boston, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Springfield, MA, she was the daughter of the late Parker Lane and Marie (Drummey) Lane. Sheila was a lifelong Somerville resident.
She is survived by her daughters Jackie Shepard of East Walpole, Robin Shepard of Somerville, her sons, Joseph B. Shepard Jr., Timothy Shepard, and Michael Florio all of Somerville. Also survived by 13 loving grandchildren. Former wife of Joseph B. Shepard, Sr. of Hanson, MA. Sister of Cookie Cyr of Florida, niece of Harold & Bernadette Quinn of Florida, and Aunt of Christy Conway, Michelle Flaherty, Kim Cyr all of Medford, and Kelley Nascimento of Somerville.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Saturday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Catherine of Genoa Church,179 Summer St., Somerville at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 thru 9. Interment will be private.
