ANDOVER, MA – Walter Belisle age 77 died Saturday July 29, 2006 unexpectedly at his home in Andover, MA.
Born and educated in Lawrence, he attended Central Catholic High School and was also in the United States Naval Reserves. For many years he was a self employed contractor, where he built homes, swimming pools, he also dealt with used auto parts and scrap metals. He was a member of the Lawrence Elks, a member of the Home Builders Association and the Lawrence Rod and Gun Club. Walter never went anywhere with out his little dog Phoebe.
He leaves his wife Claire McComiskey Stone Belisle of Andover, MA.
2 sons Donald W. Belisle and his wife Christine K. of Litchfield, NH, Richard W. Belisle and his wife Kathy of Winslow, Maine.
1 daughter Nancy Tozier and her husband Joel of Waterville, Maine.
4 step children, Peter J. Stone and his wife Cheryl of North Andover, MA, David J. Stone of Methuen, MA, Nancy P. Hudson also of Methuen, MA and Patricia M. Wilkinson and her husband James of Andover, MA.
3 sisters Grace Lannan and her husband Joseph of Fort Myers, FL, Muriel Wilfert of Santa Barbra, CA and Shirley Barron of Tamworth, NH.
13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Walter was also the husband of the late Joan M. Belisle.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00a.m. at St. Michael’s Church in North Andover, MA. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
