Maria Angelina (Oliveira) Da Silva. Age 86. Wife of the late Jacinto Da Silva. Residence formerly 111 Short St., Fall River. Died Wednesday. Born in Rabo de Peixe, Sao Miguel, Azores.
Daughter of the late Manuel and the late Rosa (Estrella) Oliveira. She came to Fall River in 1960 and lived briefly in Pawtucket, RI. She was a retired trimmer having worked at San Toro Manufacturing. She was a member of the Amalgamated Union. She was a member of St. Michael Parish in Fall River.
She is survived by 3 Sons: Jesse Da Silva of Dartmouth, Manuel Da Silva of Fall River and Joseph Da Silva of Swansea. 3 Daughters: Mary Lincourt of Pawtucket, RI, Carol Tavares of Somerset and Eduarda Rainville of Attleboro. 1 Sister: Ilda Paiva of Canada. 9 Grandchildren, 18 Great-Grandchildren, and Several Nieces and Nephews. Mother of the late John Da Silva. Sister of the late Manuel Oliveira, Maria Jose Da Paiva and Maria Rosaria Oliveira.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. FRIDAY at 7:45 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church, Essex St. at 9 A.M. Internment in Notre Dame Cemetery.
