Obituary

Bradford, Ma – Warren Schroeder, 87, passed away at Lawrence General Hospital July 31, 2006.
He was born in Lawrence, Mass. son of the late Walter and Lillian (Muenzner) Schroeder. He was educated in Lawrence graduating from Lawrence High School.
He lived in Methuen for many years before moving to Bradford where he resided for 51 years.
Warren was a sergeant in the United States Army during world war II from 1941-1945 with the American Division Asiatic Pacific Campaign Theatre in the Philippines.
He was employed for 31 years with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Traffic Division in Haverhill, and retired in April 1981.
Warren was predeceased by his wife of 57 years Jean (Rousseau) Schroeder who passed away in August 2004 and his brother Edward Schroeder who passed away October 1996.
Warren enjoyed being with family always. He also looked forward to & enjoyed taking vacations at various lakes in Maine & New Hampshire.
His favorite was Ossipee Lake in NH.
He always had dreams of owning a camp on a lake but that never came about.
But for 2 weeks every summer for over 30 years he had part of his dream come true. Warren also enjoyed many years vacationing with family at York and Wells & Kennebunk Beaches in Maine.
Warrens survivors are his daughter & caregiver Sandra Schroeder of Bradford, MA, sisters Eleanor Perkins of Pelham, NH, and Barbara Fox and her husband Earle also of Pelham, NH, brother Walt Schroeder and his wife Lucille of Clarkston, Washington, brother-in-law & sister-in-law Henry & Teresa Deschenes of Lawrence and several nieces and nephews & grand nieces and nephews,
Funeral services will take place on Friday morning at 11 o’clock from the Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday morning from 9:30-10:45 A.M. at the funeral home.
