New Bedford-Richard Xavier died at home unexpectedly on August 2, 2006. He was the father of Taylor Nichols-Xavier of Dartmouth. He was the brother of Jimmy and Jason Xavier both of Fall River, MA. He was also survived by a nephew.
Mr. Xavier was born in Fall River, MA. He was the son of Mary Ann (Bergeron) Xavier of Dartmouth, and the late James Xavier. He was a Class of “90” graduate of Greater New Bedford Vocation High School. He was a self-employed carpenter.
A Mass of Christian Burial with his ashes present will be Friday August 11, 2006 at Our Lady of Guadalupe at St. James Parish at 10 A.M. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend. In lieu of Flowers a donation may be made to his mother for his daughters College education.
In accordance with his wishes he was cremated.
