Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 9 am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 10am. Visitation prior to Mass Friday 8:45 to 9:45 am. Obituary
Gladys V. Bousquet died Monday evening at the Kindred Health Care in Stoughton after a brief illness. She was born in Brockton, a daughter of the late Tennyson and Elizabeth (Fay) Means. She remained a life long resident of the city and a graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1925. In 1972 she retired as payroll supervisor from the MBTA. She previous worked for Eastern Mass Street Railway in Brockton. She enjoyed knitting and sitting on her porch.
She is survived by a daughter and a son, Fay J. Young and David L. Bousquet and his wife Linda both of Brockton, two grandsons, David W. Bousquet of VA and Shawn A. Bousquet of Brockton, a niece and two nephews.
She was the wife of the late Leroy Bousquet, mother in law of the late Edward J. Young.
