Robert Harvey Lowrance, of Sedalia, MO, died August 8, 2006 after a brief illness. Mr. Lowrance was born in Carrollton, MO, November 12, 1929. He was the son of Catherine Gillespie Lowrance and John Harvey Lowrance. He attended Carrollton High School and was a captain of the football team in 1947. He served in the United States Army, honorably discharged in 1950. He was a dental technician and, for 60 years, he helped thousands of people by making attractive, good-fitting dentures. He was an avid movie collector and football fan and loved the MU tigers and the Kansas City Chiefs. He is survived by his wife, Luann of Sedalia, MO; his children, daughter, Patricia Lowrance Kettle Khan of Houston, TX; son, Robert Richard Lowrance of Tifton; daughter Leah Lowrance of Sedalia, MO; grand-daughters Kristina Kettle Feely of Spring, TX and Megan Kettle of Houston, TX; grandsons Lucien Kettle of Houston, TX; Camden Lowrance and Morgan Lowrance of Tifton, GA; sister Lucy Beard and her husband Raymond Beard of Bogard, MO, and his sister-in law Jane Lowrance of Universal City, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Margaret Kloeppel and his brother John G. Lowrance. Gibson Funeral home in Carrollton, MO is in charge of arrangements in Missouri and Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals is in charge of local arrangements. Graveside services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Carrollton, MO on Monday, August 14 at 10:00 AM.
