Mahoney, of Plymouth, August 6th, Thomas E. 84. Beloved husband of the late Barbara
(Kelley) Mahoney. Father of Steve and wife Donna Mahoney, David & wife Mary Mahoney and John & wife Dana Mahoney all of Plymouth. He was the son of the late Dennis F. and Mary (McManus) Mahoney. He also leaves a sister, Frances J. Mahoney of Newton and 7 grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Shannon, Christopher, Kelley, Briana and Sean. He was the brother of the late James Mahoney. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, August 8th from 5-8 pm at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Road, Route 3A, Plymouth (Manomet). Funeral from the funeral home at 9 am on Wednesday, August 9th followed by a Graveside Service at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 10:45 am. Mr. Mahoney attended Brighton High School and graduated in 1939 and served in the US Army during WWII. He later became a police officer in Boston in 1951 for 13 years then became a Court Officer for the City of Boston and retired in 1976. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, gardening and fishing and was an avid reader.
Mr. Mahoney passed away at the Radius Healthcare Center in Plymouth on Aug. 6, 2006.
