Mrs. Irene Stewart Wright,age 93,passed away on Monday August 7, 2006 in the Yalobusha County Nursing Home in Water Valley, MS. Mrs. Wright was married to Robert W. Wright, who preceded her in death on April 12, 1994. She was a retired nurse at the Yalobusha County Nursing Home and was a charter member of the First Assembly of God Church in Water Valley.
The visitation will be held at Seven Oaks Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 8, 2006 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held in Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 9, 2006 with Reverend Carl McLain and Reverend Dean Wright presiding. Committal will be in Oak Hill Cemetery with Randy Wright, Shannon Wright, Shea Wright, Tracy Wright, Jonathan Wright and Paul Carroll serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are: Paul McGeehee, James Albert Tate and Willie Pullen.
Mrs. Wright is survived by three sons: Dan Wright of Paducah, KY, John L. Wright of Horn Lake, MS and Dean Wright of Tunica, MS: eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her parents, John W. and Leman Carroll Stewart: a son, Gearrell Wright: sister, Farry Stewart: brothers, Howard Carroll, Albert Stewart, Ruel Stewart and Robert Stewart.
