Salem: Cecile D. (St.Pierre) Fournier age 79 of Salem, died Saturday, August 5, 2006 surrounded by her family at the Hunt Nursing & Retirement Home in Danvers.
Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Beatrice (Deschene) St.Pierre. She was formerly employed by Sylvania and later for the former Champion Light Co. of Lynn.
Cecile was a loving and caring person who was devoted to her large family and took delight in caring for her nieces and nephews. She was also an avid Red Sox and Bruins fan.
Cecile is survived by 3 brothers: Rene St. Pierre & Richard ‘Jimmy’ St.Pierre both of Salem, Raymond St. Pierre of Danvers, 5 sisters: Lucienne Dupuis and Eva Castronova both of Danvers, Jeannette Maurice and Rose Ouellette both of Salem, Theresa St. Pierre of Wells, Maine and also many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was predeceased by 6 brothers: Leo, Roger, Albert, Arthur, Roland and Robert St. Pierre and 4 sisters: Alice Viselli, Anita Collins, Beatrice St. Pierre, and Louise Rosetti.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral mass on Tuesday, August 8, 2006, at 11:30 am in Ste. Anne Church, 290 Jefferson Ave., Salem, followed by her burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
