Mrs. Louise C. Fortuna, age 75, of Stoneham formerly of Medford, passed away Saturday, August 5th following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Emanuel T. Fortuna. Born in Lynn she was the daughter of the late Carmen and Nacy (Niconello) Fuccillo.
Mrs. Fortuna was a devoted mother and homemaker. She enjoyed being surrounded by her family and caring for them. She also enjoyed following local politics over the years and volunteering with the American Cancer Society helping to raise funds for research.
Mrs. Fortuna was also active with Stoneham´s Council on Aging.
She is survived by her loving children, Emanuel Fortuna of Braintree, Michael Fortuna of Colorado, Debra Fortuna of Everett and Richard Fortuna of Stoneham.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford, Wednesday, at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Patrick Church 71 Central St. Stoneham, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at St. Patrick Cemetery, Stoneham.
