MOULTONBORO
Roy F. Fullerton, 70 of Moultonboro died August 27, 2002 in the Golden View Health Care Center in Meredith. He was born in Somerville MA on October 16, 1931, the son of Marvin and Estella (Ryder) Fullerton. He had resided in Carlisle Mass for several years prior to relocating to Moultonboro in 1963.
A master builder, he developed many residences in the area and also completed construction projects on a number of commercial and public buildings. In addition he formerly owned and operated the Red Hill Motel.
Mr. Fullerton was a member for many years in the Moultonboro Volunteer Fire Department and was awarded Honorary Lifetime Membership. He has served the town as a member of the School Building Needs Committee and the Playground Committee. Roy was a member and Past President of the Red Hill Outing Club.
Family members include his wife, Bernice (Medeiros) Fullerton of Moultonboro; a daughter, Susan Fullerton of Laconia; three sons, John Fullerton and Roy Arthur Fullerton, both of Moultonboro and Alan Fullerton of Laconia; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a brother, Earl Fullerton of Moultonboro; a sister, Bernice Byrne of Millis MA; nieces and nephews.
There were no calling hours. A Graveside service was held in the Shannon Cemetery, Rte. 109, Moultonboro on Saturday at 11:30 AM. Rev. Terry Thomason of Gilford officiated. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of NH, 10 Ferry St., Suite 419, Concord NH 03301.
