Obituary

Daniel A. Lynch, 63, of Atkinson died Saturday Aug. 5th at Merrimack Valley Hospital in Haverhill, MA.

He was born and educated in Somerville, MA graduating from Somerville High School in 1960. He had lived in Atkinson for1 ½ years, previously living in Salem, NH for over 30 years.

Daniel owned and operated Joe’s Restaurant in Salem, NH for many years. He also worked at the Salem Bingo Hall and Flea Market. He was a member of the American Legion Post 63 of Salem, NH, the Loyal Order of the Moose in Somerville, and the American Horse Breeder’s Association. He had owned many racehorses and was an avid thoroughbred racehorse fan. He managed charity bingo for the American Legion, Am Vets, Mary Queen of Peace Church, SARC, Salem Rams and Salem Youth Hockey.

He was predeceased by his parents William F. & Louise E. (Samson) Lynch. He was also predeceased by his brother & sister-in-law William & Mamie Lynch.

Wife: Beverly (Lenzen) Lynch of Atkinson, NH

Brother: Harvey & his wife Nancy of Woburn, MA

Sister: Stephanie Lynch of Somerville, MA

Many nieces & nephews

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 10:30 AM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH, burial will follow.

Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
