Wilfred E. Raymond, 82, of Derry, NH died Friday August 4, 2006 in the VA Hospital, W. Roxbury, MA. Mr. Raymond was born in Jamaica Plain, MA on April 13, 1924 a son of the late Wilfred E. and Adrienne (Lavoie) Raymond, Sr. He had resided in Derry since 1962, formerly living in Manchester, NH. He was a US Army veteran of WWII and held memberships in the VFW post 1617 and the American Legion Lester Chase post 9, both of Derry. He was employed by Naults Auto Service in Manchester for many years. He was a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church of Derry.
He is survived by his wife, Therese J. (Dulude) Raymond of Derry, two sons, Mark Raymond of Derry, Gary Raymond of Englewood, FL, two grandchildren, also several nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Tuesday August 8, 2006 at 10:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave., Derry with cremation to follow. Calling hours were Monday from 5 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry.
