WORCESTER- Marie R. “Memere” (LeBlanc) Chilberto, 92, of 158 Ingleside Ave., died Wednesday, August 2,in St. Vincent Hospital. Her husband, Pasquale F. Chilberto, died in 1989. She is survived by three daughters, Gloria M. Boucher, Patricia A. Harmon and Marie R. Campbell, 2 grandchildren, Gladys Harmon and Roberta Boucher; 2 great grandchildren, Kala and Todd, and several nieces and nephews. Marie was predeceased by a daughter Gladys Chilberto and a brother Alsid LeBlanc.
Mrs. Chilberto was born in Montreal, P.Q. Canada, a daughter of Adelard and Rosia (Richard) LeBlanc. She lived in Southbridge for five years before moving to Worcester, and has spent most of her life here. Marie worked for several years as a floor lady and retired from Killeen’s Machine Tool Co. in 1966. She was a life long member of St. Stephen’s Church and a member of the St. Stephen’s Guild.
The funeral will held on Saturday, August 5th from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Stephen’s Church, 357 Grafton St. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. A calling hour will be in the funeral home on Saturday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
