Marie Rita St. George, 84, of 400 Mendon Rd., North Smithfield, died Tuesday at the Hospice St. Antoine. She was the wife of the late Aram E. St. George.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Oscar St. Germain and Elmire Boisclair. She was a resident of Woonsocket for most of her life.
Mrs. St. George was a homemaker and had worked for several mills in the area.
She resided in Florida for 6 years from 1999-2005 with her family.
She is survived by a son, Daniel R. St. George, of Sebring, Florida, and a daughter, Constance L. Giguere, and her husband Roger, of Lake Placid, Florida. She was the mother of the late Roger R. St. George. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Michael Giguere and his wife, Lisa, of Texas, Paul Giguere, and his wife, Charlene, of Cumberland, Brian Giguere, of Florida, Kerrie Defusco, and her husband, Sean, of Cumberland, Kenneth St. George, and Daniel St. George, both of Florida, four great-grandchildren, Taylor and Julia Giguere, and Meghan and Britany St. George, and her goddaughter, Denise Desquenne of Gloucester.
Her funeral will be Friday at 10 am from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Antoine Chapel, Mendon Rd., North Smithfield.
