Tina M. (Sartori) Bellizia, of Medford, formerly of Somerville, died Thursday morning at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford. She was 78.
Raised in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Maria Sartori. A long time Somerville resident before moving to Medford five years ago, Tina worked with Massachusetts Department of Revenue before her retirement.
She was the beloved wife of Andrew Bellizia. She was a devoted mother to Andrew, Jr. and his wife Christine, Deanne Kobzik, Joseph and his wife Linda, Pauline and her partner Deborah Irwin all of Medford, and the late Frankie. She was a loving grandmother to Andrew III, Peter, Erica, Jennifer, Ashlee, Kaitlin and Andrea. She was a sister of Theresa Schinter, Angela D'Agnelli, Lena Cataldo and Maria DeRosa.
Family and friends may call Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:30 AM, Saturday, in the Immaculate Conception Church, Malden, with the Very Reverend Steven Boyle, presiding. Burial to follow at Saint Michael Cemetery, Roslindale.
