PEABODY - Henrietta (Falkowski) Bik, 86, formerly of Salem and Peabody, died Monday evening, July 31, 2006 in Conway, at the home of her daughter & son-in-law, Patricia & William McLoughlin, with whom she resided. She was the wife of the late Peter Bik.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Maryanne (Kordalska) Falkowski. She was a graduate of Salem High School and later lived in Peabody for over 50 years before moving to Conway in 2001. She had a love for knitting, her family and gardening.
Mrs. Bik was employed by GTE Sylvania in Danvers for over 30 years and was a production supervisor when she retired.
Besides her daughter and son-in-law, she is survived by 3 grandchildren, Peter McLoughlin of Chesterfield, Lisa McLoughlin of Northfield, Karen Pitzi of Conway, 1 great grandson Tristan Pitzi of Conway, 1 brother Thaddeus “Teddy” Falkowski of Peabody, 1 sister, Amelia Lutrzykowski of Salem and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Clara Mangiafico, Sophie Barry, Millie Tardiff & Stephen Falkowski
Her funeral service will be held Friday, August 4, 2006 at 8 am from the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem, followed by a funeral Mass at 9 am at the St. Thomas The Apostle Church, Rte 114, on the Salem-Peabody line. Visiting hours are Thursday, 5 to 8 pm. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Burial is in St. Mary Cemetery, Salem.
