WEBSTER – Russell J. Braman, 74, died Saturday, July 29, in the Transitional Care Unit at Hubbard Regional Hospital.
He leaves a nephew and a niece and his close friends, L. Roland and Joan Choiniere of Webster. He was preceded in death by a sister.
He was born in the Whitinsville section of Northbridge, the son of William R. and Rita P. (Nowlan) Braman. He was a high school graduate.
Mr. Braman was a clerk at the Whitin Machine Works in Whitinsville before retiring in 1977.
He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. He was also an adorer at the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.
The funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 2, in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main St. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blessed Sacrament Chapel, 17 East Main St., Webster, MA 01570. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street.
