JOHN RICHARD "DICK" MACKENZIE, age 58, of Hingham, died on Friday, July 21st at the Colonial Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Weymouth after a long illness. Mr. MacKenzie was born in Weymouth and was a lifelong resident of Hingham. He graduated from Hingham High School and attended Northeastern University in Boston.
He was the father of Tracy Frazier and her husband Shawn, Lori Powers and her husband Scott, Sharon Doucette and her husband Mike and Bill Robinson and his wife Rayna.
He leaves his grandchildren; Mike and Tyler Doucette, Brandon and Madison Frazier and Nicholas Robinson. Also survived by his sister, Joan Marsh and her husband Bill, and his brother Don MacKenzie and his wife Jean.
The funeral services at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel of Hingham and the interment in the High Street Cemetery in Hingham were private.
