Lucille E. (Houle) Derome, 81, formerly of Manchester died July 27, 2006 at Harborside Healthcare Northwood Nursing Home in Bedford after a long illness.
Born Manchester on April 14, 1925, she was the daughter of William and Zelire (Morin) Houle. She lived in Manchester most of her life.
Mrs. Derome worked at Manchester area mills for many years. She also worked at McQuade's Clothing Store, Kennedy's Clothing Store and American Velcro.
She enjoyed singing, dancing, ice skating and bowling.
The family includes her husband of 60 years, Raymond L. Derome of Manchester; three children, Elaine J. Domian of Merrimack, Ronald P. Derome of Manchester and Lisa M. Earley of Norfolk, MA; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren; a sister, Jeannette Lemieux of Manchester and cousins, nieces and nephews.
IN HER LIFE: Her grandchildren were the light of her life.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday July 31, 2006 at Parish of the Transfiguration, corner of Kelley and Youville streets, Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
