Annette A. Chaput, 98, of St. Joseph St., Woonsocket, died Monday at Mt. St. Francis Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Edward Chaput.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late John and Aurore (Desmarais) Caron. She was a lifelong resident of the city.
Mrs. Chaput was the co-owner, along with her late husband, of the Chaput Sign Painting Company for over 40 years.
She was a longtime communicant of St. Joseph Church. She was an expert painter and loved ballroom dancing.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews, and her close friends and caregivers, M. Yvonne Schey, of Woonsocket, and Constance and Normand Lafontaine, of Woonsocket.
Her funeral will be Wednesday at 9:30am from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am in St Joseph Church, Mendon Rd.
